If you are looking for a Halloween experience for little ones that isn’t too scary then this farm has the perfect experience. Of course the farm is open for the normal activities such as goat racing, Guinea pig fishing and petting of the animals. But the best parts are the very small cute pumpkin patch! Brian wood has been turned into a spooky ( not too spooky ) walk through and a mini spiders web maze!

30 min drive straight down the A6 you will need a sat nav for the first couple of times but after a while its very easy to find. Car Parking is really easy too and always plenty of spaces.
£6.50 per person under 2s FREE. If you want to pick a pumpkin it is £2.50
Toilets inside and outside are always clean. Inside the play barn is a lovely cafe with lots of choice and reasonable prices. Outside is a cute cabin selling refreshments. There is lots of picnic benches only a couple under cover.
I’m a huge fan of this farm it’s so clean well kept and the animals are all so friendly. There is loads of space for the kids to run around. It has rolling countryside views and is a real hidden gem!
For the first time today we visited the indoor play barn it did not disappoint! 3 floors of climbing, crawling, obstacles with 2 fun slides. Both aged children loved it with the 5 year old safely enjoying it without any help. There is a 2 and under area mixed with a soft play mat texture and an artificial turf. Great for crawling around for the younger visitors. There is a slide to climb, tunnel and a little house. We are looking forward to returning to play again!
For the Halloween themed activities Brian’s wood never disappoints and it had a spooky makeover with tombstones, witches and spiders. Loved the explosive surprise !! There are some spooky noises but nothing too scary perfect for little ones but tricky with a pushchair.
There was a little spiders maze which I thought was a great idea again perfect for little explorers. A giant spider is near the hill and is great for photos! The pumpkin patch was very small but cute! You walk around a little hill - the best part was the scarecrow he made the kids day!
Inside the animal indoor barn is a skeleton surprise again not too scary and the kids loved dancing. Some straw areas full of pumpkins perfect for photo opportunities. Of course there is the great sand and water play area, sand and digger area, lots of animals too!
