📝 Description

This Santa experience just feels like the real deal. Santa is in his grotto with pretty twinkly fairy lights, the fire is going and you can hear the popping of the logs! The smell of hot chocolate and toasting marshmallows just magical. The gardens themselves are beautiful and a very special place to visit.

Fairly easy roads to get to took under an hour from Kettering. Car park a muddy bog but to be expected!

💰 Cost

£6 per child for Christmas experience this includes a trail map, visit to Santa, hot chocolate & marshmallows to toast, access to the gardens with no time limit, chocolate treats when finished. Adults normal entry price £6 but you can use your gardens world 241 voucher.

🍴 Facilities

Toilets available and clean. A very lovely hut with a fire inside plenty of picnic benches around this area where we had a picnic. Didn’t use the cafe hut as we took our own food. Some picnic benches are under cover too which is a bonus.

🚜 Activities

I will do a full review another time on the amazing gardens but this review is on the Christmas experience alone. When you arrive you are given a trail map and asked to follow the reindeer. Within the first 5 minutes you come to a very cute wooded area and greeted by an elf.  You follow the trail through the pretty fairy lights and look up to see all of the elf houses! The elf was amazing she really engaged with the children and told them all about how they get into the tiny boxes at night!  Santa is in a beautiful open log cabin decorated fantastically with a real fire!! He really is the real Santa with a real beard!! Not forgetting Mrs Claus who too was very helpful and handed out marshmallows and hot chocolates for the children and homemade biscuits!  After saying goodbye to Santa you then toast your marshmallows on the open fire and sit on the logs. It’s a very beautiful rustic setting and the children were engrossed in the whole experience!  We followed it up with a long walk and explored the gardens which I will review again another day.  Unfortunately this experience is SOLD OUT but be sure to click SAVE on insta or Facebook and you can refer to it quickly for next year.  Very well organised, a really lovely experience. Memories that will last a lifetime.

🌻 Mother tripper tips

WELLIES, wellies WELLIES!! It is soooo muddy! You are welcome to take your dog too which would be lovely! if you can don't take a pushchair it’s very muddy, and in a wooded area much easier with a carrier especially for the walks afterwards. Keep an eye on this venue they do Halloween & Easter events.
