📝 Description

I wasn’t going to share as it is not the biggest park. But I keep getting asked for recommendations for parks for toddlers and preschoolers and I feel this one is perfect!

There is no parking, the park is tucked away in a residential area. So if you are driving please be mindful of parking. You could park up at McDonald’s and walk across the a A14 bridge and then turn left into the park.

🍴 Facilities

No toilets. There is a grass area next to the park which is nice for picnics in summer. A table and 2 benches inside the park.

🚜 Activities

It is not a big park at all, however what is great about the park is the play equipment. The smaller toddler size one has 3 slides! A mini rock climbing type, steps, and metal climbing bars. It really is the perfect size for 1-2 year olds to explore on their own safely! This is what I like about the park so much. The ground is also rubber material which also makes it feel a little safer for smaller children.  The larger frame is great too for the more adventurous toddlers. They don’t feel left out because there are stairs to use which is perfect! Taking a 5 year old and 2 year old to a park usually means they split up bits it’s nice that they can use the same parts. This has 2 double slides and one curly one neither launch them off fast either!  For my 5 year old she can climb freely across it all and I have seen lots of different age children all enjoying themselves.  It is all enclosed which is perfect for wondering children. No dogs allowed.  There is a small see saw, sit on horse and mini stand up roundabout.  Pushchairs and wheelchair users are able to enter through the gate. No steps required and pushchairs are usually parked up outside the gate.

🌻 Mother tripper tips

It isn’t a long visit park, you can team it up by taking a trip to Burton Latimer McDonald’s which is in walking distance I plan to do some after school park dates with a cheeky McDonald’s in the summer
